Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at PayPal, Varshita is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, where she studied Electronics and Communications Engineering. With over 1.20 years of relevant experience, Varshita has a strong background in software development and has worked with a range of frameworks and tools including C, C++, VS Code, Squirrel, and Git. In her current role at PayPal, Varshita is responsible for developing and implementing new software solutions to improve the company's operations. She is a creative thinker who is always looking for ways to optimize processes and improve user experiences. Prior to joining PayPal, Varshita worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Petasense, where she designed a sample code based on HSM concept to have insight on transitions between states and substates. She also developed a new feature on the firmware to keep track of the frequency of tasks performed by the device, and improved the design for state-based measurements and wifi back-off logic resulting in optimized battery life. Varshita is also a Head of Design at TEDx BITS Goa, where she is responsible for leading the design team and ensuring that all aspects of the event are visually appealing and engaging. She is a natural leader who thrives in collaborative environments and is always looking for ways to inspire and motivate her team.
