Varun Garg is a highly skilled Backend Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at WorkDuck as a Backend Engineer, where he is responsible for building the backend of a powerful and collaborative note-taking application from scratch using Kotlin as the development language and AWS Lambdas as infrastructure enabled by the Serverless framework with DynamoDB (AWS Managed) as the primary database. Varun is also responsible for setting up the API Gateway, handling deployment, enabling logging using CloudWatch, and setting up monitoring systems using CloudWatch Log Insights enabled via Grafana.
