Varun Kumar is a highly experienced cloud architect with over 14 years of experience in IT. He has extensive knowledge in developing highly scalable PaaS solutions using Azure/AWS, migrating legacy on-premises applications to PaaS, leading high-performance teams, and delivery management. He has worked in various domains such as Public sector, Hospitality, Banking and finance, Insurance, e-learning, and in-house management. Varun is currently working as a Sr Solutions Architect at AISPL (AWS India), where he provides cloud expertise to customers, designs scalable solutions on the cloud, and leads development teams to deliver solutions. Varun has also worked in Presales for multiple organizations, where he was instrumental in preparing “Proof of Concept,” providing product demonstrations, and winning several deals across different platforms, including cloud, App. Dev, and Azure. He has also contributed as SME in some of the big deals. Varun has exposure to storage and processing big data for data analysis. He has taken multiple successful initiatives for Technical sessions for the upscaling of teams. Varun's past experience includes working as a Cloud Architect at Microsoft, where he was responsible for solution architecture, design, and implementation of massively scalable IOT solutions on Microsoft Azure. He has also worked on Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform Implementation. He analyzed customer requirements and designed solutions to meet business objectives. Varun developed proof of concepts to showcase product features to customers. He also worked on the modernization of legacy customer applications to the latest Microsoft technologies and integration of software components with external business applications. Varun holds a Senior Management degree from IIM-Ahmedabad, a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology. He completed his XII from Kulachi Hansraj Model School. Varun is proficient in Senior Software Engineering, AWS, Azure, Big Data, and Integration. He has relevant experience of 9.21 years.
