Varun Maheshwari is a young and dynamic Business Analyst currently working at Meesho. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi in 2020. With a relevant experience of 2.35 years, Varun has a strong background in Sentiment Analysis, SQL, Flask, Web development, Product Management, Testing, and Python. Varun has previously worked as an Engineer at Goods and Services Tax Network where he developed a sentiment analysis LSTM model to analyze tweets on the keyword "GST" with a validation accuracy of 94.3%. He also created a web application to host the model using Flask and integrated the model with Tweepy to fetch tweets from Twitter on the keyword "GST" for any sets of dates. This project showcases his expertise in sentiment analysis and web development. In his role as a Data Analyst at PharmEasy, Varun migrated sprinter level data from Redshift/SQL to Qubole/HiveQL. He also created a dashboard on MSTR for the same data and analyzed logistics data to suggest new ETA on various parameters such as Slot, Day of the week, Pin-code, and type of delivery. He worked on MS Excel and the Interquartile method to check the success rate of each pin-code for different durations of time. This project showcases his expertise in data analysis and visualization.
