Varun is a Creative UI Consultant and Experience Maker with over 4 years of experience as a passionate front-end engineer. He strongly believes that a functional UI can only provide a normal user experience, while a UI with a great focus on UX can give a wow experience. Varun has led and architected multiple responsive scalable projects with the latest tech stack, and he is React Nanodegree Certified from Udacity. Varun has strong foundational skills in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and their Pre-processors. He has a solid understanding of JavaScript( ES5/ES6+) and the ability to pick up any framework quickly. He is passionate about beautiful design with an eye for detail and has experience with Restful and GraphQL APIs integrations. Varun is proficient with Cross-Browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues. He is also proficient with Build Automation tools (Gulp, Webpack, etc.) and has expert knowledge of BEM Methodology, SMACSS (Scalable Modular Architecture), Atomic CSS for building Scalable and reusable components. Varun is proficient in developing scalable and modular Architecture apps using React, Next.js, etc. He is also proficient with CSS-in-JS, Styled JSX, Styled components, and CSS modules approaches for modern application architecture with scale. Currently, Varun is working as a Frontend Developer at Wall. Varun has previously worked as a Freelance UI Consultant and Senior Frontend Developer at Lollypop Design Studio. At Lollypop, he was responsible for leading the team and developing fully responsive, quality checked websites and web apps using the latest tech stack like JavaScript(ES5/ES6+), PUG, SASS, React.js, Next.js. He also led and built consumer-facing and business-facing applications using React and made sure the load times were optimal and did not affect the user experience. Varun has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Amrita University and has completed Web Development from Udacity and Full Stack Developer from Free Code Camp. He has also completed his 12th Standard from B.E.S Bharatiya Tirtha Vidyalaya and his 10th Standard from Vyasa Vidya Peethom.
