Varun is skilled in conducting detailed win/loss analysis to coach and improve sales coaching, fine-tuning pitches based on market feedback, and forecasting sales, preparing budgets, and setting objectives. In addition to his current role, Varun has held several leadership positions at Exotel, including Head of Global Enterprise Business and Head of International Business & Partnerships. He launched Exotel's global operations in 2016 with a focus on Southeast Asia and deployed cloud communication solutions in unicorns like Gojek, Lazada, and Redmart in just 18 months. Varun has also created a high-impact network of influencers for accelerating Exotel's growth, interfaced with local telcos and partners to source the best possible rates and routes for quality, and led the sales team to achieve revenue targets with a data-driven and consultative approach. Varun holds an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management from Birla Institute of Management Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology.
