Varun is a Technical Lead at Siren with over 9 years of experience in the software development industry. He is an application developer who prefers to work with the full picture in mind and does not believe in reinventing the wheel unless it is justified. Varun is currently working on developing an Investigative Intelligence solution using NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, and Elasticsearch. His areas of interest include Visual Analytics and Data Systems. Varun's superpower is his ability to pick up a new programming language within three days. He has always focused on mastering programming paradigms, making it easier for him to learn new languages quickly. Varun is continuously optimizing his process of learning newer concepts. In his current role at Siren, Varun is responsible for designing, developing, and leading feature development on the Siren Investigative Intelligence Platform. He has also worked as a Software Engineer I at FICO®, where he worked on Next Generation SironRCC. His main responsibilities included security, UX/UI, reporting, and other features. He received a Spot Award for his contribution to the project. Varun's experience also includes an internship at the Centre for Railway Information Systems, where he worked on data analysis and report generation. Varun holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity School of Engineering Technology and a Senior Secondary degree from Salwan Public School. He has a diverse tech stack, including Elastic Search, Javascript, NodeJS, ML, Neo4j, UI, Web, dotNET, Java, Docker, AngularJS, Cypher, Test, Designer, Data Scientist, MySQL, Spring Boot, Spring, ETL, Integration, and Frontend.
