Varun Sheth is a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience in web development, requirement analysis, and product development. He is currently employed at Adobe, where he leads the effort to build a new tech stack for the core UI team. Varun's expertise lies in understanding, conceptualizing, and developing applications and services that are best suited to the client's needs. He is passionate about working in the Web 2.0 space and applying his knowledge, experience, and skills to grow in sync with today's technological trends. Varun's specialties include web development, CMS development, API's, tools, web solutions, backend development, UI development, and database administration. He has extensive experience in building Angular apps, ad transcoder integrations, and a mixed bag of other stuff. In addition, Varun has co-founded EduKids Connect Systems, an easy-to-use mobile app for child care programs that gives parents a comprehensive view of their child's day while streamlining administrative operations. As a co-founder and technical architect, Varun built the founding blocks for Edukids, including system design, database design, system and network infrastructure in AWS, building API's, coding the web app, and leading the iOS and Android engineers to build the native apps. Varun's engineering team grew from two engineers to ten+ engineers within the first two years, with some of the engineers set up remotely for a continuous development cycle. Edukids grew 50% paid seats MoM, reaching a total of 1000+ paid seats within the first two years. Edukids also won the 2nd place award for the Best Edtech Startup Idea of 2016 in the NYU StartEd Accelerator Program. Varun has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He also has a Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
