Varun Subramanian is an ELK Certified Engineer and ELK Certified Observability Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in providing solutions to customers across the ELK stack. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at squareshift where he provides design and solutions to clients across the ELK space, specifically in the areas of observability and monitoring. Varun's primary objective has always been towards solving real-world problems and coming up with meaningful solutions. He has worked with a variety of companies in the past, including lifion where he was a member of the platform engineering team and collaborated with other teams to work on the continuous development of microservices based out of the platform. He has also worked as an application developer at think42 labs (p) ltd where he designed and developed database architecture, implemented Restful API endpoints, and documented code while writing unit test cases for the same. Additionally, he also worked as a business analyst at think42 labs (p) ltd where he engaged various stakeholders to gather software requirements and translated them into different deliverables such as functional specifications, user cases, user stories, and model diagrams. Varun holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anna University. He has a solid tech stack that includes software engineering, testing, microservices, and integration.
