Vashitaa Sethi is a Strategic Alliances Executive at Sify Technologies Limited with 2.35 years of relevant experience. She holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Symbiosis and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from SRM University. Vashitaa is also a graduate of Loretto Convent School and Delhi Public School, where she completed her Master of Business Administration and PCM with Economics, respectively. Vashitaa has worked as a Marketing Intern at MakeMyTrip, where she analyzed consumer decision making variables and customer experience of booking hotels via OTAs. She suggested MakeMyTrip curate hotel package listings and implemented the strategy of using event banners to attract hotel bookings in Paris. Vashitaa also conceptualized and implemented the idea of a dream destination project for London, Amsterdam, and Paris hotels targeting loyal travelers who cannot afford luxury. At MakeMyTrip, Vashitaa also gained operational knowledge and usage of go-mmt extranet by domestic chain hotels. She visited domestic chain hotels listed on Go-mmt Extranet portal, identified using a dataset of 20,000+ hotels using Tableau, and made product enhancements to the Go-mmt Extranet portal by the ingo team, based on her suggestions and recommendations. This increased the overall adoption of Go-mmt Extranet to 67.21% from 40.5% in the course of three months. Vashitaa also carried out a comparative analysis between the Extranet portals of Booking.com, Expedia, and Go-mmt. Vashitaa's experience also includes Oyo market analysis of Jaipur, where she visited Jaipur to interact with stakeholders to identify contractual issues between Oyo and property owners. She experienced the 90 Oyo properties with several issues as a customer to evaluate the overall customer satisfaction with Oyo Properties in Jaipur. Based on her observations, she suggested measures to resolve contractual and payment issues between the Oyo property owners and Oyo, as well as to enhance the customer experience with booking Oyo properties listed on MakeMyTrip.
