Vatsal Ambastha is an experienced engineer, consultant, and entrepreneur in the video game and media industry with over 7 years of relevant experience. He has been involved in various roles such as running his game studio, creating adtech & monetization products, and developing developer platforms. Vatsal has been working as an independent consultant & developer on software projects for a wide range of industries looking to leverage Unity for their vision since 2017. Currently, Vatsal is a freelance Unity developer at ManageXR.com and Le Musk, a VR film directed by Academy Award Winner AR Rahman. He is the founder of Retro Reel, a movie streaming app dedicated to retro films. Vatsal works on the tech and product with the help of a small team that's responsible for design, film curation, and social media. Additionally, he makes short, experimental indie games on adrenak.itch.io. Vatsal's open-source projects feature popular Unity repositories for physics, AI, networking, audio/video, UI, and more. He is in constant pursuit of software craftsmanship and is always looking to improve his skills. Currently, Vatsal is working as a Software Engineer - Unity & XR at ManageXR, where he is helping organizations scale VR operations with ManageXR, an MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution. He leads the client/VR software development, which is made in Unity and supports a wide and growing range of XR platforms and devices. Vatsal holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology. He is skilled in Software Engineering, AI, UI, Mobile, and Android.
