Vedansh Garg is a visionary entrepreneur and co-founder of Devsnest, a company that provides a TECH mentorship program designed to help students get their dream job. With a mission to build a school that adds value to each and every student and focuses on their holistic all-round development, Vedansh is passionate about transforming the broken education system in India. Prior to co-founding Devsnest, Vedansh worked as a mentor at Navgurukul, a non-profit initiative that aims at providing software engineering training to underprivileged youth. During his tenure, he created curriculum and projects in vernacular languages that can be understood by 15-year-olds and mentored 100+ students on programming basics from 2017 to 2019. He also took a sabbatical of 3 months in April 2019 to build the Jobs Pipeline for Navgurukul. Vedansh is also the founder of Bandarbaat, a vernacular news platform over WhatsApp. He scaled it to a base of 10,000 users within a period of 4 weeks but got banned by WhatsApp as a result of the scale-up. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology, Vedansh has over 7 years of relevant experience in the field. He strongly believes that our college education is broken but is there an alternative? He is determined to build one and is constantly looking for ways to transform the education system in India. Vedansh is a firm believer in learning in groups and teams and rewards students on trials rather than outcomes. He is a passionate individual who is always looking for ways to add value to the lives of others.
