Vedant Kumar is an enthusiastic learner and programmer with a keen interest in product management. As a Product Manager at Freo (MoneyTap), he has taken part in the end-to-end lifecycle of the product, from ideation to deployment, and worked with a 16-person engineering and core team to deliver multiple features that increased user engagement and retention. He has also developed and derived the complete event segmentation and funnel analysis of the product using Amplitude, making core or UI/UX changes to facilitate higher funnel-based conversion percentages. Prior to his current role, Vedant worked as a Product Management Intern at Instasolv, where he was involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of the product and launched a push notification campaign that increased the overall CTR by 0.3%. He also co-founded Chalk News, a platform that delivered up-to-the-minute, impartial, and independent news and insights on the educational sector across India. Vedant holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, and completed his high school education in Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics with a 95% score from Sudesh Vatika Convent School, Bathinda, Punjab. He also holds a 10 CGPA from St. Xavier's Sen. Sec. School, Bathinda, Punjab. With 2.95 years of relevant experience, Vedant's tech stack includes product management, integration, testing, UI, Android, frontend, ML, mobile, and software engineering. He is passionate about developing useful Android software and has inculcated an appreciation for how great products can touch millions of lives.
