Vedant Mehta is a PGDM candidate at SPJIMR with a focus on Information Management. He is a Senior Software Engineer with 35 months of experience in Oracle India Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru in the Oracle Data Cloud Division. Vedant has led the entire QA initiative for a breadth of products, starting with design of test plan and scope to implementation and finally certification of products for release. He has also developed and maintained an in-house framework that is currently being used for testing of all Oracle Data Cloud products. Vedant is an Electronics Engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He has actively participated in the organization of various events at college level and served as the Academic Representative of the Electronics Engineering Department. He is an ardent tennis lover and has represented the college at various tournaments. Currently, Vedant is a Product Manager at redBus where he has contributed towards the development of Rural Tourism in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand through field surveys and laid out a structured plan for demand generation, thereby improving the livelihood of locals. Vedant has also worked as a Management Intern at Pidilite Industries where he formulated a 1-year roadmap for the Dealer App by interviewing ~70 dealers and creating a user journey map. He streamlined the Credit Note Tracking & Reward Point Redemption System to improve Dealer Experience and built wireframes for proposed solutions while performing benchmarking against competitor apps. Vedant has a diverse range of skills and experience that includes product management, test, software engineering, QA, research scientist, and SDET. He has relevant experience of 4.69 years and is always eager to learn and enhance his skills.
