Veena Priya Vasu is a highly motivated and aspiring Cyber Security engineer with a strong background in software development. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Cyber Security at Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus. With 2.5 years of experience as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) India, Veena's competency as a professional and software developer has drastically improved. During her tenure at TCS, she was able to work with different technologies such as ASP.NET, XML, HTML, MS SQL Server, C#, ADO.NET, and Client-Side Scripting using JavaScript. Veena's knowledge in Cryptography, IT security law (GDPR), Pervasive System Security, Security of Industrial Control Systems, Network System Security, Internet Measurements and Forensics, Web application security, Fundamentals of Network penetration testing, DevSecOps, Secure code review, and API Security Architect Certification from API Academy, python, and RUST makes her an expert in the field of Cyber Security. She developed a framework for Website-Fingerprinting attacks against the privacy-enhancing technique, OpenVPN using Python language for her Master's study project. Veena was also part of the development of the Messaging Layer Security (MLS) protocol at Wire Swiss GmbH, Berlin, as a Cyber Security Intern. Throughout her internship at Wire, she was able to get familiar with the implementation of different secure cryptographic protocols. She also implemented Proof of concept MLS and benchmarking the same in the RUST programming language. Currently working as a Product Security Engineer at Raisin, Veena's experience includes working as a Product Security Engineer (Work Student) at Raisin and an Intern - Cyber Security at Wire. Veena's education history includes a Master's in Cyber Security from Brandenburg University of Technology, Germany, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, and a Diploma in Computer Science and engineering from IPT and GPTC Shoranur, India. Veena's tech stack includes dotNET, Python, SQL, test, ASP.NET, Javascript, Web, Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer.
