Venkata Shyam Kumar M is an experienced Test Automation Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the storage, virtualization, server management, and security industry. He has over 9 years of experience as a Software Principal QA Engineer, currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini. His core strengths include leading and managing multiple QA teams, creating automation and test strategies from scratch, building TDD and BDD hybrid frameworks, writing scalable reusable logics and architecture automation end to end, and mentoring and tutoring large size teams. Venkata has expertise in Selenium, REST API, UI and Backend API Automation on any operating system, and creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for achieving CI/CD. Prior to Capgemini, Venkata worked as a Software QA Engineer at McAfee, where he automated critical McAfee DAT/ signatures software's & Interoperability testing. He also automated apps via UI & API using Python, Behave for testing several antivirus software's, and worked with Corporate & Consumer products on Windows, Linux & MAC OS. He trained the team on quality engineering practices. Venkata also worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Dell. Venkata holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from New Horizon College. His tech stack includes QA, test, Selenium, CI/CD, UI, Backend, SDET, Python, Jenkins, OpenCV, and Web. With 9.36 years of relevant experience, Venkata is an automation strategist with the ability to lead and manage multiple programs of large team size.
