Venkatesh Amrutwar is a highly accomplished co-founder and business leader with over 7 years of experience in developing and scaling innovative products and services. He is currently the Co-Founder of helpnow, a medical emergency services provider that caters to 1.3 billion Indians. Venkatesh led the company to raise over $2 million in seed funding and managed a team of 40, wearing multiple hats and handling various functions, including day-to-day business operations, fundraising, analytics, product development, B2B sales, HR, finance, and legal. Prior to his current role, Venkatesh co-founded RoadCare, where he developed a real-time, automated road quality monitoring system to enable data-driven governance for maintenance of the road infrastructure. He mobilized and led a 4-member team to develop an end-to-end product and technology and partnered with OLA to integrate RoadCare SDK with 1800 driver OLA app to pilot on 50k+ km in Mumbai & Bangalore. Venkatesh also liaised with officials and industry experts from NHAI, MCGM, L&T, GMR, etc. to get pilot leads & explore PMF. Venkatesh began his career as a Business Analyst at Quantum Phinance, where he catered consulting services to 5 clients, including Fortune India 100 companies in financial services. He saved 0.5 FTE/day for a client by automating VISA transaction reports for the Ministry of Home Affairs (GOI) and assessed an impact of $150M for a Mutual Fund (AUM $14B) in the fund’s sales. Venkatesh also reduced TAT from 1 day to a min by eliminating manual interaction to build automated Compliance-MIS sent to SEBI. Venkatesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is highly skilled in infra and research scientist and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in his various roles.
