Venkatesh Gopalakrishnan is a passionate software engineer with about 3 years of experience in Full Stack Web Development, Data Analysis, and Process Automation. Prior to his current role, Venkatesh worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Nanoheal, where he designed and built the backend of a SOC-2 compliance auditing application for organizations to keep track of their policies, procedures, implement controls and submit relevant evidence. He also architected and developed an SSO proxy plugin supporting OAuth, SAML, and LDAP authentication, that can be utilized to jumpstart SSO authentication for any client application to connect to any identity provider. Venkatesh built a conversational AI chatbot that helped reduce the response time as well as the number of support tickets, thus facilitating smoother IT Support Management. He also maintained and deployed applications in Docker container clusters managed by Kubernetes and streamlined branching/release strategies for customers. Venkatesh has also worked as an Associate - Projects at Cognizant, where he developed an Intelligent Business Validation Tool using Python, Django, MySQL, and Celery. He implemented Async API calling with multi-threading to improve the response time and performance of the overall application. Venkatesh designed and coded an Engine that compares huge spreadsheets for data inconsistencies with pre-and post-processing reconciliation modules and achieved an average speed of 100 seconds to compare a spreadsheet with a million rows containing 25% of anomalies. He also built an interactive validation center and a dashboard using React, Redux that generated stats with runtime estimates based on curated historic data. Venkatesh worked closely with senior architects and client partners in designing the tech-stack using Micro-service design principles in an Agile development environment and coded and maintained about 100 workflows used for service orchestration as a part of network modernization in credit cards and payments system. He also wrote behavior-driven integration tests using Cucumber to test the workflows end-to-end. Venkatesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering and a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from TVS Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
