Venkatesh Jaligam is an experienced Systems Design & Validation Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the semiconductors industry. He is currently a Senior Staff Systems Design Engineer at SiFive, a leading provider of customizable RISC-V processor IP. Venkatesh has a strong background in system level emulation, platform emulation, and validation of server products. He has previously worked at top semiconductor companies including AMD, Intel, and Xilinx. At AMD, he was a Member of Technical Staff and worked on the platform emulation of AMD EPYC Server CPUs, UEFI Boot Bring-up on Palladium/Protium, and PCIe/CXL Bring-up and Validation. At Intel, he was a System Validation Engineer and worked on the system level emulation of Ponte Vecchio GPU using Synopsys ZeBu/HAPS and system validation of next-gen server products on RVPs (Reference Validation Platform). Venkatesh holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Princeton College of Engineering and Technology, a P.G Diploma in VLSI design from Vector India, Inst, Hyderabad, and completed his intermediate education in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry (M.P.C) from CSNR Govt Junior College. He also holds an SSC degree in Maths and Science from ZPHS Raghunathpur. In terms of technical skills, Venkatesh is a Software Engineer with expertise in system design, validation, and emulation. He is a skilled professional with a strong ability to work in a team and deliver high-quality results.
