Currently, he serves as the Director of Engineering at Visa, where he leads the Mobile Enablement Platform Solutions team. In this role, he is responsible for driving the development of innovative solutions that enable secure, convenient, and seamless mobile payments for customers worldwide. Prior to his current position, Venkatesh worked as an Engineering Manager at Visa, where he was instrumental in building the Visa Digital Commerce App for iOS and Android platforms. As the initial member of the team, he hired and nurtured a high-performing team of talented Android, iOS, and Automation engineers. Venkatesh played a critical role in aligning technical requirements across feature teams distributed globally, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality products. He was also responsible for managing the team of engineers, setting priorities, investigating and fixing issues, and ensuring quality through a robust automation suite. Venkatesh's extensive experience in Agile methodologies helped him execute sprint planning and work closely with engineers to deliver projects on time. Before joining Visa, Venkatesh worked as a Designer at ANZ, where he honed his skills in designing and developing innovative solutions for customers. He holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where he graduated in 2005.
