Venkatesh Mantha is an experienced Software Engineer currently working as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft. He has a demonstrated history of working in the Big data space and is skilled in Java, Python, Scala, big data, cloud, and distributed systems technologies. Venkatesh is a degree candidate in Master of Liberal Arts (ALM), Extension Studies focused on Information Management Systems from Harvard University. He is expected to complete his degree in December 2020. Prior to joining Microsoft, Venkatesh worked as a Software Engineer at dataxu and miq. At dataxu, he was a member of the highly performant Data Lake and Reporting analytics team responsible for data ETL, data decoration, and all the reporting pipelines infrastructure of Dataxu. At miq, he worked towards the development of a data analytics visualization platform 'EiQ' which analyzes and models the data to provide actionable insights back to the client. Venkatesh was responsible for the end-to-end development of an in-house administrative platform for EiQ. He was also involved in the development, maintenance, and automation of the day-to-day sales data infrastructure pipeline for enterprise clients of MiQ. Venkatesh has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. His technical skills include Software Engineering, Big Data, infra, ETL, Python, Scala, and Java. Venkatesh has 2.87 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Engineering.
