Venkatesh Rangamani is an experienced Engineering Manager for Compliance Platform at PayPal and a Certified Financial Crime Specialist. With over 15 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Verizon and PayPal. Currently, he holds the position of Software Development Manager at PayPal and is responsible for leading the development of the compliance platform. Venkatesh has a proven track record of solving critical business problems and creating innovative solutions. During his tenure at Verizon, he led the team to develop a tool that solved the problem of arresting revenue leakage due to non-renewal of expired contracts. The tool helped to gather existing inventory of customers in just a few clicks and provided a renewal pricing along with up-sell/cross-sell recommendations to help the sales team for their negotiation. This tool was called the Innovation of the Year by Ajay Waghray, CIO Verizon Enterprise Solutions, and Venkatesh received the Verizon Performance Excellence Award from Chris Formant, President & CEO of Verizon Enterprise Solutions. Venkatesh has also led the team that developed a state-of-the-art pricing system for Verizon Rapid Delivery (VRD) Platform from the ground up in an agile incremental fashion within a timeframe of 2 years. This pricing system is the single strategic directional pricing platform for Verizon Enterprise Solutions (VES). Verizon Rapid Delivery was awarded the prestigious TM Forum award for Business Process Framework conformance. Venkatesh holds a Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence from GLIM and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Sandwich) from PSG College of Technology. He also completed his Higher Secondary education in Maths & Science from Sri Ahobila Math Oriental HR Sec School. Venkatesh's technical skills include Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineering. He is a highly motivated and results-driven individual, with a passion for solving complex business problems.
