Venkatesh Sankarappan is a resourceful tech enthusiast with a passion for contributing towards a sustainable society. He is currently a Werkstudent at Robert Bosch GmbH while pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on smart systems at the University of Stuttgart. Venkatesh's professional journey so far at Bosch has given him excellent automotive software domain knowledge and good exposure to E/E architecture, particularly in Electric Power Assisted Steering Systems. His experience in steering systems has incited his interest in exploring how smart a system could be and ultimately landed him in pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on smart systems. Venkatesh aspires to be a significant contributor to the development of intelligent systems for a sustainable society. Venkatesh has 1.45 years of relevant experience and has worked as a Software Engineer and Model Based SW Developer at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions. He has predominantly worked in VW MQB, MEB platform projects as a functional software developer for Electric Power Steering Systems (ASIL-D). Venkatesh has collaborated for customer requirements analysis and technical realization of concepts. He has hands-on experience in CAN & CANFD communication protocols and has predominantly worked on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems such as Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assist, and Driving Steering Recommendation. Venkatesh has also worked as a Summer Intern at SRF, where he gained hands-on experience with PLC controllers and Distributed Control Systems and completed a mini-project on control of a servo motor using PLC. Venkatesh's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology and he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, which is expected to be completed in December 2023. Venkatesh's tech stack includes skills in Test, Software Engineering, QA, Integration, and Senior Software Engineering.
