Venu Madhava is a Mechanical Design Engineer with over 4 years of experience in product design and development. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Patna and has a keen interest in the application of CAD, CAE in designing and developing innovative products. Currently, he is working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Addverb Technologies, India’s leading robotics, industrial and warehouse Automation Company. Throughout his career, Venu has been honing his skills and augmenting his understandings by implementing the concepts of CAE, CAD, and FEA in Product Design and Development with a wide range of applications in the domains of Design, Robotics, and Automation. He has designed and prototyped several products, including the Fourway Carton Shuttle, payload 50kgs for ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), Pallet Stacker which can perform both stacking pallets and de-stacking a pallet bundle on a conveyor as a part of warehouse automation, and Addverb’s Pallet Lift of 12m height, payload 1200 kgs for ASRS systems. Venu has also presented Addverb’s products at Elecrama 2020 (World’s largest Electrical Expo) using Siemens NX MCD (Mechatronic concept Designer) software. He has conducted NX MCD Simulations of Shuttles (Quadron), AMR’s (Autonomous Mobile robots –Dynamo), MPV (Mobile Picking Vehicle–Veloce), Gantry System, and Pallet Crane to reduce product development time, calculate the cycle times and better decision making of controls. Prior to his current role, Venu worked on designing a novel energy-efficient cutting tool for ductile materials at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He also designed and fabricated an Educational Toy (Engineering Practicum) using robotic components as a team of four to enhance and develop programming skills in children. Venu has a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He is proficient in Smart design and optimization on the software SolidEdge, NX CAD, and advanced training on FEA in Ansys Workbench and Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance. His technical skills include product designer, Mobile, and designer.
