Victor graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2018. With over 7 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Facebook and Instagram. At Facebook, Victor served as a Front End Engineer (Videos), where he built search autocomplete and accessibility features in a universal web app built with React and Redux. At Instagram, he worked as a Software Engineer (Ad Delivery), where he built machine learning infrastructure, trained ads personalization models, and model feature engineering. Victor's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Frontend Development, Web Development, Javascript, Redux, Search, ML, and infra. He is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is always looking for ways to improve his skills and knowledge.
