Vidhu Bennie Tholath is a highly experienced and accomplished technical leader with over 24 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Embedded Multimedia Software Development, and Program Management. He has worked with some of the world's most respected consumer electronics and semiconductor companies, delivering product innovation and transforming businesses using design thinking, lean business models, strategic and operational excellence, seed investments, and identifying new opportunities. Vidhu has extensive experience in incubating and building high-performance teams and leading them to sustainable success. He has a keen understanding of customer and market needs and the ability to articulate a vision and maintain productive relationships with customers and alliance partners. Vidhu's core competencies include program, product, and business management of smartphones solutions based on AI/ML, Computer Vision, for Digital Imaging Products & Speech Technologies such as ASR/TTS. He has the ability to collaborate across teams for task accomplishment, market understanding, high-impact project proposals, and securing stakeholder approvals. Vidhu is an expert in agile execution, detailed planning, and tracking, competency building, and short-mid-long term technology roadmaps building. He has extensive experience with mobile platforms and multimedia frameworks for Android, Tizen, Bada, SHP, image/video pre/post-processing, computer vision, machine learning, IoT, segmentation, 3D processing, object tracking, TTS, color-space transformations, compression, de-compression, streaming, stage-fright, GStreamer, OPENMAX-IL, video (H264, HEVC, etc.), image (Jpeg, PNG, etc.), audio, speech (AAC, MP3, AMR, EFR), and performance optimization for ARM, Cortex, NEON, various DSP, using C and assembly. Vidhu also has streaming protocol knowledge, including RTSP, adaptive streaming, and DASH. Currently, Vidhu is the Chairman of DheeYantra, where he is building a complete suite of vernacular solutions for businesses, helping them to onboard vernacular customers. He has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of DheeYantra, where he developed three solutions to bridge the gap between businesses and vernacular speaking communities.
