Vignesh Rao is a highly skilled and passionate software engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He currently works as an AI Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he is developing an energy market system using Multi-Agent System and Jade framework to map sellers and buyers of energy efficiently. Vignesh pursued his Masters in Computer Science at Cornell University, where he gained a deep understanding of various computer science domains. Prior to joining Cornell, he worked as a Software Engineer at Citigroup for 1.5 years. Vignesh is an ardent techie who is passionate about solving new and challenging real-world problems across all domains in Computer Science. During his undergraduate studies at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Vignesh did 4 internships that kick-started his career. He is highly skilled in competitive coding, having qualified twice at the ACM ICPC regionals '16. He is also a Machine learning enthusiast and has published 3 IEEE research papers on ML. Vignesh has worked with several companies in the past, including Tippie and Adoope Games, where he worked as a Software Engineer Intern. At Tippie, he developed a screen-casting technique used to develop a library for android developers to prepare tutorials for their application easily. At Adoope Games, he developed APIs for an android application using Django Rest API, which stores digital identities (e.g., PAN card, etc.) in one place. Vignesh's technical skills are highly diverse and include expertise in Software Engineering, ML, Research Scientist, Object detection, Object Detection, and Python.
