Vijay Kumar Sahu is an accomplished Information Security Leader and the current Head of Security and Privacy at Adobe India. With over 18 years of relevant experience, he has built and led a centralized security team that is responsible for securing all Adobe India-based applications and infrastructure. His team ensures that Adobe designs, develops, deploys, and delivers in a secure manner to protect the company and its customers. Vijay is currently leading the Security and Privacy team of Adobe Campaign and Customer Journey in Digital Marketing BU of Adobe. His team of security researchers and developers design and develop security and privacy features, fix security issues, conduct threat modeling, and integrate Vault, among other responsibilities. He works closely with various stakeholders to ensure that Campaign and AJO customers are happy from a security, compliance, and privacy standpoint. Prior to his current role, Vijay worked as a Software Engineer at STMicroelectronics, where he developed firmware for MPEG2 and H.264/AVC decoder in SetTop Box video decoder chips. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT. Vijay is an expert in Microservices, Software Engineering, infrastructure, testing, and Mobile technologies. He is proud of setting up an excellent team and loves the daily challenges of leading a security team in Adobe India. He is passionate about attracting and retaining the best security talent, scaling security across the organization, securing the weakest link, convincing product teams to reduce their security debt, and keeping himself up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
