Vijay Jaisankar is a passionate Machine Learning enthusiast with a strong understanding of algorithms. He is currently pursuing an Integrated Masters of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Bangalore. With a keen interest in working in a challenging environment, he is always looking for opportunities to implement his skills for the growth of an organization and to build a successful career. Currently, Vijay is a Committee Member of the Placement Committee at IIITB. In this role, he is responsible for various aspects of the placement process, including communication, coordination, and marketing. Prior to this, he was an Organiser of the inaugural edition of the IIITB Summer of Code, where he played a crucial role in ensuring successful communication and coordination between the team and contributors. Vijay's internship at the Web Science Lab, IIITB, provided him with hands-on experience in the Adaptive Traffic Lights Project. During this internship, he worked with a team to develop new algorithms for optimal positioning of Adaptive Traffic Lights, experimented with alternative adaptive schemes to help reduce the load on road networks, and created new traffic interventions to modify networks. He also had the opportunity to work with real Government data to validate findings and present his work at conferences like SUMOCONF. Vijay's educational background includes a Senior Secondary Education degree from Narayana Junior College, where he studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Before that, he completed his primary and secondary education at Delhi Public School, Bangalore East. He is expected to complete his Integrated Masters of Technology in December 2024. Vijay's technical skills include expertise in Machine Learning, and he is also proficient in Python. He has 0.27 years of relevant experience and is looking for opportunities to apply his skills and knowledge in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
