Vijay Lakshmikanthan is a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with over 11 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Infosys, where he has gained extensive expertise in developing and maintaining overall test methodology and strategy. Vijay has a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo, where he also gained practical exposure in UI, functional, regression, database, user acceptance, and browser testing. Throughout his career, Vijay has analyzed business requirements, translated them into functional design documents, and participated in the technical design and user documentation processes in SDLC and agile methodologies. He has also gained comprehensive experience in IT solutions and has applied it in myriad business domains. Vijay has played a key role in pioneering the automation of test sequences for reduction of time and effort using HP QTP and Selenium WebDriver. Vijay is a natural leader and has trained and mentored fresh talents in the project on various functionalities and automation testing by conducting workshops and maintaining knowledge repositories. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Anna University and completed his high school education in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from DAV Chennai. Vijay's technical skillset includes QA, testing, SDET, Selenium, and UI. His experience and expertise make him an asset to any team he joins.
