Vijay Tanmay is a consistent, creative, and curious individual with a passion for technology. With over 1.69 years of relevant experience, Vijay has extensive knowledge of technologies from the early 2000s and loves working with Python. He is also knowledgeable in Django, Flask, and Vue.js frameworks. Currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at VMware, Vijay is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's products. In his previous role as an R&D Intern at VMware, he built an end-to-end pipeline handling lifecycle actions of vCenter product of Install, Upgrade and Patch with newer additions of Selective Halt&Resume, Custom script Executions supporting multi-step paths and custom configurations over different Topologies. His work involved Python, Flask, vCenter API's, VMware DBC, Jenkins, and Internal Framework tools. Vijay also has experience working as a Research Intern at DRDO, where he worked on cryptography algorithms like AES and DES. He also built models that can classify encrypted source files while experimenting on the MNIST Fashion dataset. He learned about the internal workings of cryptography algorithms, better programming, and analyzing which model suits a given use case and why a selected model is good or bad. Vijay holds a B.tech in Computer Science from Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus, which he will complete in 2022. He also completed his Class 10 from NSM Public School. Vijay's tech stack includes Software Engineer, Flask, Python, Javascript, Django, Jenkins, VueJS, and Research Scientist. Vijay aims to understand and build intuition over the product and tries to perfect it the best he can. He is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always looking to learn and grow in his career.
