Vijay Tadikamalla is a skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning and Open Source technologies. He is currently pursuing his final year of undergraduate studies in Computer Science at IIT Hyderabad. Vijay has a diverse range of experience in the field, having worked with both Microsoft and Google as a Data Scientist and Google Summer of Code Developer respectively. At present, Vijay is working as a Google Summer of Code Mentor for the TensorFlow Datasets (TFDS) project at tensorflow. In his previous role at tensorflow, he worked on the TensorFlow Datasets library under the guidance of Google Brain's TensorFlow team. He has also completed an internship at Microsoft, where he added an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature into the Chromium based Edge browser's PDF viewer. This feature allows the user to select and search text present in the images of a PDF file. His work was recognized, and he was offered a Pre Placement Offer (PPO) from Microsoft. Vijay has a strong technical background, with expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Haskell. He is also proficient in various technologies such as Tensorflow, Python, ML, and Search. Vijay has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Hyderabad. With relevant experience of 2.20 years, Vijay is a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for exploring new technologies and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
