Vijay Thammanna is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in Java applications. He has a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Data Structures, and is highly skilled in Core Java, JSP, JDBC, HTML, and the basics of Hibernate. With his experience in developing Rest Web Services using Java, he has implemented database connectivity using JDBC from JSPs. Vijay has hands-on experience in developing plugins using Eclipse Modeling Framework and is well-versed in Hadoop, Hive, and Data Analytics. He has also worked on the DOMO visualization tool, which has helped him gain expertise in Marketing. Currently, Vijay is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Rakuten India Enterprise Pvt Ltd, where he is part of the Ad-Platform team as a full stack developer. He is involved in the development of Rest API - Backend Services and is working as part of the Incubation team for data-driven marketing. Prior to his current role, Vijay has worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Star Infotech and Elogic Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Science from Global Academy of Technology, where he studied from 2005 to 2009. He also holds a Pre-University degree from RNS Vidhyani Kethan and completed his schooling from BET Convent.
