Vijay Tyagi is a seasoned Sales Manager at UOP India Private Limited with over 15 years of experience in process design in the Refining and Gas sectors. He has handled several projects, including Hydrocracking, Hydrotreating, Aromatics, and LNG Plants. Vijay has extensive experience in performing various process engineering activities during Basic Process Design, FEED, and Detailed Engineering (EPC) phases, including the supervision of engineers. Vijay's specialties include Process and Systems Design, Hydrotreating and Hydrocracking Technologies, Process Revamp Studies, and Supervision & Team Leadership. Currently, he is working as a Product Sales Manager at Honeywell. In his previous roles, Vijay worked as a Hydroprocessing Technology Specialist at UOP India, where he provided technical sales support for catalyst sales initiatives in the hydroprocessing technology area. He was responsible for developing an understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations, generating yield estimates, and preparing the technical proposals for catalyst reload projects. Before that, Vijay worked as a Process Technology Engineer at UOP India Private Ltd. He was responsible for managing, technically executing, and completing various process engineering tasks, such as process simulations, process flow scheme optimization, Process Flow Diagrams, P&I Diagrams, process equipment specifications, etc., required during the preparation of Basic Engineering Design Packages, including the supervision of engineers. Vijay holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management for Working Executives (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow – Noida Campus, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, and completed his schooling from Asha Modern School, Saharanpur. With nearly 20 years of relevant experience, Vijay is a skilled professional who is passionate about process design and has a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
