Vijayakumar Gaddi is a Software Quality Senior Principal Engineer at Dell EMC with over 17 years of relevant experience. He is a Certified Scrum Master and actively plays the role of SM in his current project. Vijayakumar has managed planning HW requirements for Dell EMC cloud for Microsoft Azure stack and has built and managed hybrid cloud infrastructure for the entire project. He has also developed the SAFe model system test team for Microsoft 'Azure stack Hub' Business Unit. Vijayakumar has achieved hiring, training, mentoring, and enabling QE to work in Agile SDLC model. He has initiated integration validation of the product in the Azure Stack Hub environment and has working experience on MS public Azure. He has also managed a partnership program between NetApp and VMware - vMSC - to certify NetApp's file and block storage protocol on VMware vCenter that supports end-to-end FT, HA, and DRS. Vijayakumar has developed and maintained functional and system testing procedures for Agile scrum teams and has also improved HW management procedures. His domain expertise includes storage, automation and cloud, virtualization, and solution validation. He has hands-on experience in configuring and managing/testing storage arrays, servers, and applications using cluster technology, including Dell, HP, IBM, and CISCO monolithic and blade servers. He is familiar with scripting languages like Python, firmware & driver testing like BIOS, BMC, EFI, FC, FCoE, and backup and restore apps like HP's Data Protector and EMC's Networker. Vijayakumar has been involved in black box testing of devices based on technology like RAID, SAS, iSCSI, SATA, SAN, FC, FCoE, NPIV. He has also tested storage products from LSI, Emulex, Qlogic, NetApp, HP, etc., on Dell & HP Servers. Vijayakumar is familiar with Oracle and MS SQL. He has a BE degree in Engineering from PDA College of Engineering Gulbarga.
