Vijaylakshmi Raman is an Assistant Manager- People at Airblack, where she is involved in multiple workstreams, including recruitment, employee engagement, operations, payroll, performance management, stakeholder communication, and employer branding. She is a professional skilled in sourcing, recruiting, end-to-end recruitment process, end-to-end employee lifecycle, and customer account management. Vijaylakshmi is also interested in exploring marketing in offline events and picking up new projects as she goes. Before joining Airblack, Vijaylakshmi worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Skuad, where she hired across all tech/non-tech roles globally. She worked with talent to understand their capabilities, career aspirations, identified skills gaps, and advised on how to bridge the gap. She also worked as a customer account manager and managed communication with them as well as the alignment of profiles. Geographies covered by her include SEA, MEA, NA, and Europe. Vijaylakshmi is a social person who enjoys connecting with people and knowing about the different kinds of career paths they've taken in their lives. She believes in the ideology that everyone has a story beyond their resume. She is also interested in discussions around psychology/human behavior, strategy-related roles, and paranormal activities/conspiracy theories. Vijaylakshmi completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2020. She also attended Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya for high school.
