Vikas Gadoi is a highly skilled Maintenance Executive with over 6 years of experience in the Mechatronics and Automation field. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Manufacturing Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. He is a proficient programmer in CNC machines and PLC systems, with expertise in Siemens, Fanuc, Novamatic, and SIMATIC Manager, among others. Currently working as an Executive Maintenance at Schaeffler, Vikas is responsible for Plant Maintenance and Facility, including heat treatment, central supply system, bearing machining and assembly machine maintenance, and large-size bearing machining maintenance. He also plans and executes preventive maintenance and spare parts planning. In his previous role as an Engineer Maintenance at General Electric Power System India Pvt. Ltd., Vikas maintained all critical CNC machines with Siemens 840Dsl controller and PLC-HMI based machines. He was responsible for preparing preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance checklists, PLC logic modification, kaizens, improvement works, machine safety audits, PR and budget planning, and spare listing, planning, and preparation. Vikas also established store and inventory management and control, TPM activity, MTTR, MTBF, tagging, autonomous checklist preparation, and training for technicians and operators. Prior to that, Vikas worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Bharat Forge Ltd, where he was responsible for breakdown maintenance of machine component division, preparing and planning for preventive maintenance schedule, routine maintenance of CNC machines, and programming and troubleshooting on different kinds of controllers such as Fanuc and Siemens. Vikas is a skilled professional with a vast knowledge of machine functions, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power electrical systems.
