Vikas Gautam is a Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, he is working with Ernst and Young as a Guidewire Claimcenter Developer, where he is responsible for the development and enhancement of HiMarleyTexting integration with Claimcenter. He has used Gosu programming language, customized web API, plugins, and Guidewire messaging framework to improve user experience and make two-way texting possible. Vikas has also provided support to MIB Integration, which captures all third-party related bodily injury and integrates it with Claimcenter to provide payments to third-party policyholder insurance companies. He has also worked on Zorro integration, which handles emergency claims created offline UK hours. In addition, he has worked on several configurations relating to payments, third-party data capture, exposures, etc. Prior to his current role, Vikas worked with Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst, where he developed batch jobs in Banking and Financial Services domain and provided application support. He also worked with Virtusa as a Software Engineer, where he started his career in Telecom domain and worked on various tools using core Java and Eclipse Modelling Framework. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Anna University. He has expertise in software engineering, integration, Java, web, SQL, and designer.
