Vikas Gupta is a seasoned technology leader with over 18 years of experience in the field of payments and automation. Currently working as a Payments, Sr. Program Manager at Apple, he is responsible for leading the iPhone, Payments, and Apple Card programs for the Apple online store. His key projects include the Apple Card Monthly Installment, Trade-in, iPhone Upgrade Program, and the redesign of the Apple Online Store. Prior to his current role, Vikas founded and served as the CEO of Smartphone Software Inc., a startup that built a highly scalable platform to dynamically create mobile apps for celebrities to connect with their fans. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Qbit, where he designed and developed mission-critical applications such as iOS and Android-based home automation systems, fleet management systems, and mobile app-based task force management systems. Vikas holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a Post Graduate Diploma in e-Business System Architecture from Cistems Institute of Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Pune University.
