Vikas Jadhav is a highly skilled SDET/QA engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering and is a self-starter, goal-oriented, and strategist whose confidence, perseverance, and vision promote success. Vikas's final year degree project was research-based, developing a Language Driver for Unicode Character System, which was published in an International Journal in the USA and awarded a prize of Rs. 10,000/-. He also received the first prize in project exhibition for the same project at PCCOE, Pune & SPCOE, Pune in 2012-2013. Additionally, he was the College Topper for Second and Third Year Diploma in 2009-2010. Currently, Vikas is working as a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Allot. In the past, he has worked at Qualys as a Senior SDET and at Symantec as an SQA Engineer. At Qualys, he worked on API automation using Java and Java Rest assured, Postman, Jmeter-API Performance testing, UI Performance Testing, UI Automation, and deployment of the product in CI/CD pipeline on Docker. He also worked on Cassandra DB, Elastic Search, REDIS, Vault, Jenkins, Rest API, and more. At Symantec, he worked on Cloud workload Assurance Product, took ownership in certifying as well as defect analysis for various Rest API's and modules independently, and did API Performance Testing (PSR) using JMeter tool. Vikas has extensive experience in analyzing and identifying gaps in business functional requirements, hands-on experience in defect tracking tool Jira, and hands-on experience in UI Automation Testing using Core Java and Selenium. He is also proficient in writing SQL queries and making necessary changes in the database. Vikas has worked with various databases like MySQL, Aurora DB, and Couch-based databases like MDR. Vikas's tech stack includes QA, SDET, test, Java, UI, Research Scientist, CI/CD, Redis, Docker, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Jenkins, Search, SQL, Selenium, MySQL, and Spring.
