Vikas Jain is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in all levels of software development, from gathering resources to implementing business scenarios. Currently working at Amazon, he has developed a new User Interface for Forte 2021 that is used by every eligible employee in Amazon, allowing them to ask and provide feedback from/to peers. Vikas emphasizes the importance of collaborating with project consultants and other developers to find efficient solutions to business problems while delivering the best work in a timely manner. Prior to his work at Amazon, Vikas worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Works Applications Co., Ltd. where he actively participated in all phases of the product development life cycle. He developed a multitenant ETL tool to transfer data between two different ERPs and a framework to transfer data between different landscapes. Vikas also designed and implemented a new aggregation module for analysis of accounting data of the User using ElasticSearch, integrated Expense with Approval and PayRequest MSAs using RESTful APIs, and utilized External Japanese API Ekispert to generate automatic calculation of fare for Japanese applications in accounting software. Vikas has also worked as a Research Intern at National Tsing Hua University, where he modeled and simulated a 2 Level, 3 phase Voltage-Sourced Converters HVDC to control Reactive Power Independent of Active Power to be used in future smart Grid Extensively. He simulated a Grid Imposed Frequency System, Controlled frequency VSC System using dq and αβ frame and DSP chip coded using Code Compose Studio as Integrated development Environment. Vikas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Higher Secondary degree in Science Maths from Step by Step High School, Jaipur. He is proficient in a variety of technologies, including AWS, Elastic Search, ETL, and Research Scientist. Vikas is open to relocation to the United States of America.
