Vikas Jain is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in building SaaS platforms with microservices architecture. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Rubrik, where he is leading the development of a distributed data storage platform for storing PBs of data with deduplication, compression, and efficient retrieval. Vikas is a Computer Science graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where he completed his Bachelor of Technology in 2017. During his time at IIT, he gained extensive knowledge and expertise in areas such as Microservices Architecture Design, Distributed Databases, Storage, and Services, Large Scale Data Management Services. Vikas has hands-on experience in working with various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. He is proficient in using Golang and gRPC to build microservices architecture-based SaaS platforms. He has also worked with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and deployment. Apart from his professional experience, Vikas has also worked as a Course Tutor at IIT Kanpur for the Fundamentals of Computing course.
