Vikas Malpani is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and community builder with over 13 years of experience in the technology and real estate sectors. He is best known as the Co-Founder of CommonFloor.com, the world's first and India's leading community-centric residential real estate portal. At CommonFloor, Vikas assumed various roles and was instrumental in driving the PnL and rejuvenating the founding product, CFGroups, which helps apartment owners/neighbors come together to communicate, collaborate, and manage their apartment. Under his leadership, CFGroups achieved operational profitability and product excellence. Vikas is passionate about envisioning the big picture, creating innovative solutions to business problems, and building teams to deliver to the needs of the business. He is an angel investor, mentor, advisor, fellow entrepreneur, and participant in the startup ecosystem. He is also a recipient of the MIT TR35 Young Innovator Award and has received many other accolades from the industry. Currently, Vikas serves as a Strategic Advisor at FiveS Digital, an impact-first BPO/KPO business with a goal of profiting by creating a sustainable social impact. In his role, he helps build core principles, align teams towards goals to achieve rapid growth and scale, and provides technology-first thought to disrupt a process-first industry. Prior to FiveS Digital, Vikas was the Co-Founder and CEO of Leher App, a new type of social network over live conversations. He also served as a Strategic Advisor at EasyClinic, a clinic/practice management and hospital outpatient management system for Africa and Asia. Vikas holds a degree in Strategies of Growth from IIM and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
