Vikas Swaroop is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer currently working at Capgemini in the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) domain. With a background in Electronics and Communication engineering, he has a keen interest in Cloud and Networking. He has proven himself to be an avid learner with effective management and leadership skills. At Capgemini, Vikas focuses on helping customers and clients manage incidents, tasks, monitoring, and troubleshooting their cloud infrastructure issues. He is passionate about providing the best resolution possible and believes that his strong skill set and relevant experience can bring creative ideas and successful solutions to the table. Prior to joining Capgemini, Vikas gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at Uttar Pradesh State Load Despatch Centre (UPSLDC), where he learned about power generation, grid controlling, and communication. He also received hands-on training in Data Acquisition system referred to as SCADA to get online data of the power system. He gained knowledge about monitoring system parameters and system security, daily scheduling, and operational planning. Augmentation of telemetry, computing, and communication facilities. Vikas also worked as an Industrial Trainee at Signal and Telecommunication Centre, Indian Railways, where he gained knowledge about the installation and maintenance of signaling and telecommunication systems required for the effective fleet of locomotives and other rolling stock and track. He experienced demonstrated working of Rail Net, Auto Exchange, OFC (Optical Fibre Cable) system, and Reservation system in railways. Vikas completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in 2019. He also completed his Intermediate from Jai Academy and his High School from Christ the King College, Jhansi. Vikas has a strong technical skill set and is proficient in Software Engineering and Infrastructure. With 2.28 years of relevant experience, he is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
