Vikas Taank is a skilled Senior Member of Technical Staff, currently contributing to the development of a next-generation cross-browser and automation testing platform on the cloud at LambdaTest. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he is a talented software engineer with a strong background in backend development and services deployment. Prior to his current role, Vikas worked at Ericsson as a Senior Software Engineer, where he was responsible for backend services development and enhancements, as well as working on interfacing applications for the AT&T Telecom project. He also worked on Core Java, Inventory tool, and Weblogic server. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hashstudioz Technologies Pvt Ltd, formerly known as eCare Technology Labs Pvt Ltd. There, he was responsible for backend services development, business logic, and handling databases. He worked on a travel domain SaaS product, web services/API integrations for new suppliers, and different service-based projects for Rest API development using Spring Boot + Hibernate. He modified the existing product to correct errors, upgrade interfaces, improve performance, and add new modules and functionalities while keeping the system's performance unaffected. He also led the new product development process with a dedicated team and handled deployments. Vikas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management, where he focused on developing his skills in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, and web technologies.
