Vikas Tiwari is a highly experienced Staff Engineer at Nagarro with over 8 years of experience in managing and delivering Software Testing projects across various domains including Automotive, Retail, Telecom, E-commerce, and Business Process. He has extensive experience in manual testing, API testing, database testing, test planning, and test automation, and is proficient in test automation frameworks using various tools like Selenium with JAVA, Cucumber, TestNG & Robot framework. Vikas is a certified Tosca testing professional and is currently preparing for the cloud certificate – AZ900. He has been involved in all stages of the software testing lifecycle, right from requirement analysis, estimations, test planning, test scripting, execution, and test results reporting. He has also performed multiple roles in the team as SPOC for all testing deliverables like requirement analysis, test plan document, test case baseline, test case execution, and test closure. Vikas has worked with Infosys as a Test Analyst, where he was responsible for analyzing user stories for each sprint, test planning, effort estimation, task allocation to teammates, creation of test cases, test execution, identifying defects, re-testing of defects, test closure, and documenting lessons learned. He has also worked on creating BDD test automation frameworks with POM for web-based applications and has experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, understanding and highlighting dependencies and constraints well in advance. Prior to Infosys, Vikas worked with Wipro as a Software Test Engineer. Here, he was responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the testing activities and tasks during the testing cycle, updating the Test Summary Reports to the stakeholders daily, executing and maintaining Regression suits with the number of test cases, and enhancing the execution performance. He has also assisted peers and provided training to the team on automation tools and practices. Vikas is a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience in leading agile testing teams. He understands and translates client requirements into test deliverables and has experience in setting up Test environments and supporting UAT teams with test data creation and validations. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NRI Institute of Science and Technology. Vikas has 9.20 years of relevant experience in the field of SDET, Selenium, Java, Integration, and Web testing.
