Vikas Wadhvani is a seasoned Technical Product Manager with over 12 years of experience in the technology industry. He specializes in building software products from scratch and has a unique mix of skills that help him transform ideas into successful products. With a trifecta of Product, UX, and Technology, Vikas has worked with several startups, enabling and working with lean engineering teams to achieve high-velocity releases with proper processes and quality checks in place. Vikas has 8+ years of experience in working with Video and was an early member of teams that built video conferencing and video streaming solutions at multiple companies. He has 7+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams and coordinating with cross-functional teams like Product Management, UX, engineering, sales, and marketing. As a software engineer, Vikas has worked on most layers of software, right from system software to web UI to cloud backend services to even DevOps technologies, which helps him understand the full software architecture of the system. Currently, Vikas is working as a Technical Product Manager at deepfactor, where he works with a brilliant set of people on a daily basis to build the most comprehensive pre-production monitoring tool for developers. He takes on multiple roles to ensure the goal of runtime visibility for developers. Before joining deepfactor, Vikas worked as a Principal Engineer at Kalpnik, where he was responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing backend, frontend, and media streaming services. He also co-founded Work-In Workspaces, where he provided quality co-working space to enable startups to concentrate on their core business. Vikas has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from RVCE and completed his PUC in Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology from Vijaya PU College. His tech stack includes product management, backend, AWS, DevOps, UI, web, software engineering, Azure, frontend, and infra.
