Vikram is an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience working in the online travel, entertainment, ad technology, and health-tech domains. Currently, he is working as an engineer at Arcesium (D. E. Shaw & Co.), where he is responsible for developing and implementing highly scalable products from scratch. He is skilled in Java and related technologies, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS), product management (SDLC), agile development, and team management. Vikram has worked in early-stage startups and played a pivotal role in team building, designing, and implementing highly scalable products. He has a demonstrated track record of solving high-impact problems and has a keen eye for detail. Previously, Vikram worked as a Principal Engineer at Pharmeasy and Bonzai – The Creative Management Platform, where he was responsible for developing a decision engine, a critical component that decides what ad is to be served to the consumer. He also implemented a feature on the existing B2B product, enabling campaign managers to replace the content of their ads using a feed source (JSON, XML, RSS, ATOM), reducing campaign manager’s time significantly. Vikram has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from VIT and completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is proficient in AWS, Java, product management, PHP, MySQL, Spring, Microservices, infra, and Golang.
