Vikrant Kumar is an Embedded Software Engineer with 3.79 years of relevant experience in IoT solutions supporting 4G-LTE and NB-IoT networks. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Maplelabs, he has previously worked as a Software Developer at Jio, where he developed embedded software for Cattle tracking solution (IoT - BLE gateway hub) to meet the client requirements. Vikrant's technical work includes web protocols such as MQTT, TCP (TCP/IP), development of utilities that require Analog, GPIO, Accelerometer, and GPS data analysis, serial communication module development, and porting and integration of IoT solutions on RTOS (freeRTOS), Mbed-OS, and Embedded Linux-based devices. He has also worked on Asset Tracking, Heavy Equipment and commercial vehicle monitoring and control, street lighting, and panel metering. Apart from his work experience, Vikrant has also worked on an online web portal (Library management system) during his Industrial / Summer Training at Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre. He gained experience in web development, database management, and the use of REST API with PHP to communicate over the internet. Vikrant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, where he studied from 2015 to 2019. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Web Development, Integration, and PHP. Vikrant is a self-motivated individual who is always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
