Vimal Bhaya is a highly skilled entrepreneur and founder of Renergy Technologies, a company dedicated to saving the planet and improving human lives. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Vimal is proficient in various areas, including product management, data science, backend web development in Python, design mockups, and responsive web development. He is also a fast learner and has expertise in embedded system design, analog design, PCI express protocol, and storage devices. Apart from Renergy Technologies, Vimal is also the founder of Actnowledge, a company that democratizes personalized adaptive learning for the masses. He is also an angel investor at Stanford Angels, where he sources and sanitizes deal flow of 50+ startups/quarter for the angel group. Vimal has a passion for building connections and adding value to each other, and he appreciates active reach-outs from people who share his vision. Vimal is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He furthered his education by obtaining a Software Product Management (SPM) certification from Product School. Currently, Vimal is a Fellow at On Deck, a select and curated group of high-potential technology entrepreneurs that are exploring or starting businesses in early 2021. As part of the On Deck Fellowship Cohort 8, Vimal is among the 330+ companies founded by ODF-ers in the past 15 months, with companies raising over $250M from investors, including Sequoia, Greylock, First Round, Founders Fund, among others.
